We recently visited Old Car Heaven in downtown Birmingham for a friend's birthday and Todd Simpson and Mojo Child's CD release party. Todd is an amazing guitar player with an interesting story and background. They were filming a documentary this particular night, so (fingers crossed) you may see us on the big screen!
Old Car Heaven had, as you can imagine, old cars! This is great if you like cars and such, but us girlie girls liked this venue for the smoke-free, open feel. There was a bar/loungey area and then a great big room where the music was played. There were large tables and tons of chairs that could be scooted about to suit your party, as well as a large area for standing/dancing near the stage.
